I have previously made a number of contributions to Wikipedia:Graphics Lab, but have not been able to recently because of the changes related to overridding files. Thank you. Auguel (talk) 20:16, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to overwrite an image file on Commons in order to upload a partial restoration made by me of it. I know that, from 2019 circa to the first months of 2021, I edited pages and overwrote files without following the rules and for this I extend to the community my deepest excuses; now, I have grown up and I am conscientious about what I do here. Thank you very much in advance. Jilligate (talk) 16:06, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Edit count is still low. I'd definitely want to see more. Abzeronow (talk) 16:13, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
On Commons or in the whole Wikipedia? Jilligate (talk) 16:27, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
On Commons. Abzeronow (talk) 16:44, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not granted for now per above, low edit count, you may use COM:OWR until then. -- CptViraj (talk) 13:44, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have been editing for years and mainly contribute to maps and other files related to WikiProject Eurovision on Wikipedia, most of which weren't initially created by myself. Due to the amount I contribute within that space, it would be very much appreciated if I could be granted autopatrol privileges rather than wasting people's time with constant exception requests. Thank you very much! Aris Odi ❯❯❯ talk 12:25, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
116 edits is still a bit low. Abzeronow (talk) 16:38, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I know that number is a bit low for commons, however, as of writing this I have 835 edits on the English Wikipedia. Most of my changes on commons involve minor changes to maps and other files for WikiProject Eurovision. I am a trusted user within that project so it would be helpful if I could be granted these privileges, however, I understand if that may not be possible at this stage. Thank you for your assistance. I am requesting autopatrolled rights as I currently need to upload a corrected version of File:Telegram-World.svg (with Russia colored in light teal and added metadata: title, description and corresponding license). These rights would also be useful for future contributions to other files. While I have only 126 edits and about 7 uploads on Commons, my overall contribution across Wikimedia projects exceeds 1,500 edits, including 727 on the Italian Wikipedia and 556 on the English Wikipedia. I have always respected the rules and will continue to do so. Thank you. Digressivo (talk) 04:30, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I've added the template to the file. I would like to see more edits from you, I'm willing to keep this request open while your activity will make your edit count go up on its own. Abzeronow (talk) 16:24, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am requesting autopatrolled rights to upload .mp3 files from LibriVox, e.g.~(https://librivox.org/out-from-the-heart-by-james-allen/), which are in the public domain in the U.S. I realise I do not have a large number of edits on Commons, but have >30k on Wikisource, and this request is to enable file uploads for Wikisource texts. Thanks, TeysaKarlov (talk) 20:24, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'd like some more edits from you. You're autopatrolled on English Wikisource so edit count isn't as big a deal, but 69 edits is still rather low. Abzeronow (talk) 22:26, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Abzeronow Thanks for the prompt response. Given that there are many things that I should/would rather be working on on Wikisource, I am not sure how quickly I will build up more edits on Commons. I'll see how I go, but if I don't end up with more edits within the next month or so, feel free to close this request, assuming I can ping you/reopen it when I do. Thanks, TeysaKarlov (talk) 20:55, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. I am requesting to be autopatrolled since I have done almost 7.500 edits so far and I would like to be able to upload more photos in less time (see Commons:Guide to batch uploading#Rate limits), I use Flickr-to-Commons to do so (but I have also uploaded 200 photos of my own: see Category:Photographs by Brunnaiz). Thank you for your time. Brunnaiz (talk) 06:36, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello to all administrators. I am mainly working on building a reliable wiki database of native plant species (wikipedia, wikispecies, wikimedia commons, wikidata). I often upload photos that capture important morphological traits of each plant species, and sometimes those species is correctly identified after uploading. New species are often discovered, especially in the orchid family, and reclassifications are often made. It is important for our purposes that the file name of the image represents the correct species name based on the latest classification. To facilitate the above editing process, I request "Filemover" privileges. Thank you. BeautifulMedia (talk) 05:59, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I would like to apply for the right to move files. It often happens that files uploaded by me are moved if it turns out afterwards what I have actually photographed, what can be seen in the photo (e.g. the exact name of a mountain in a mountain range, the special feature or the name of a building on a street, the exact species or genus of a plant or an animal, etc.). Unfortunately, sometimes a typo or two creeps in during mass uploads, which then continues throughout the entire series. To avoid creating unnecessary extra work, I would like to be able to move these files myself if possible. --Anil Ö. (talk) 00:41, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. When I upload photos in bulk, especially through the mobile app, issues like incorrect sorting or naming can occur. Therefore, I would like to become a filemover to quickly correct both my own mistakes and those of other users without leaving redirects, and to help reduce the workload of other admins. Thank you. --bluetime93 💬 14:38, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
